About The Position

The 1st Shift Batching Operator - 1 will be responsible for operating assigned machines that mix products, ensuring products meet all recipe requirements, quality and safety standards. The schedule is Monday-Fridays, with a start time of 5:30 AM year-round, and a varying end time. Occasionally, changes to the work schedule may occur due to production or training needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend documentation in English including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Utilize calculators to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to obtain forklift and/or pallet jack license.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow MGK HACCP and SQF programs.
• Learn and follow all Food Safety procedures.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Set up, assemble, disassemble, and sanitize all specified equipment, per standard operating procedures.
• Measure and weight required ingredients per specified recipe.
• Meticulously follow all recipe instructions and standard procedures to ensure recipe accuracy and quality.
• Safely and accurately operate all assigned machines as per standard operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
