About The Position
The Batch team ensures the consistency and integrity of the required batch planning. The Documentation of these processes must be maintained and updated by the functional team. The Batch team ensure that the provided batch documentation meets the defined standards and that contains all the necessary information. Batch planning is made up of elements of the Control-M scheduler and executes both functional programs (outside the scope of responsibility of this team) and planning support utilities. These utilities are developed internally, both in java and in Unix scripting, so the team must know them, analyse their result, and maintain. The team will develop and perform BATCH proactive maintenance which guarantee the health of the BATCH service and related to that, the service will define BATCH monitoring tasks and procedures for the operation team that will permit them to monitor BATCH sessions and ensure their proper evolution / execution.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of Control-M.
- Knowledge of UC4.
- Minimum English level C1.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Autosys is not required for this occasion.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance of Batch processes planning in Control-M, Autosys and UC4 (both services will be retired by end of 2027 and are used only by AGR).
- Maintenance and updating of process documentation.
- Analysis and maintenance of internally developed utilities in java and Unix scripting.
- Development and performance of proactive BATCH maintenance to guarantee service health.
- Definition of BATCH monitoring tasks and procedures for the operation team.
