About The Position

RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is hiring a Batch Maker/Mixer Tech to mix chemicals, dry resins, and nitrocellulose to produce lacquers, sealers, and thinners used in the furniture industry. The role also involves mixing colors and bases in several resin systems and tinting products to match color standards provided by the QA Lab. This is a full-time, in-person position paying from $17.50 per hour. The schedule is an 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with weekend availability. Candidates must pass a background check and drug test to qualify for employment.

Nice To Haves

Three years of manufacturing experience preferred.
One year of mixing or batch-making experience preferred.
Day-shift availability preferred.
Night-shift availability preferred.

Responsibilities

Measure and weigh specified quantities of solvent and dry resins into the proper blending tank according to the formula sheet.
Tint products with the colors specified on the formula sheet to match standards provided by the QA Lab.
Take products to the QA Lab for quality-control checks and make final adjustments.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
