About The Position
RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is looking for Batch Makers/Mixer Techs. This role involves mixing chemicals, dry resins, and nitrocellulose to produce lacquers, sealers, and thinners for the furniture industry. The Batch Maker will also mix different colors and bases across various resin systems, tinting them to match color standards provided by the QA Lab.
Requirements
- Ability to commute/relocate to Hudson, NC (Required)
- Pass background check and drug test to qualify for employment.

- Manufacturing experience: 3 years (Preferred)
- Mixing/Batch Making experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Day Shift availability (Preferred)
- Night Shift availability (Preferred)
- Weekend availability
Responsibilities
- Measure and weigh specified quantities of solvent and dry resins into the proper blending tank according to the formula sheet.
- Match colors to standards provided by the QA Lab by tinting products with tint colors specified on the formula sheet.
- Take products to the QA Lab for QC checks and make final adjustments.
- Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
