About The Position

The Basketball Court Attendant helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for court users at a professional basketball team and entertainment venue. The role monitors the court and other assigned basketball areas, performs routine cleaning and maintenance, identifies and reports safety issues, and helps ensure cleaning supplies are available. The position requires attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.

The work is primarily indoors and involves moving between spaces as directed. This is a part-time role with flexibility to work outside regular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Monitor the basketball court and other assigned basketball areas for safety, cleanliness, and compliance with facility standards.
• Check court surfaces for wear and tear, including cracks, loose floor panels, or uneven surfaces, and promptly report issues.
• Clean the court, assigned basketball spaces, and surrounding areas through routine sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
• Perform regular cleaning to prevent slipping hazards and maintain a polished playing surface.
• Communicate issues to management and suggest improvements.
• Respond promptly to spills, leaks, or accidents to maintain a safe playing environment.
• Watch for and report signs of pests.
• Track cleaning supplies and request replenishments before stock runs low.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
