About The Position

This position supports the success and growth of the Shoot 360 program and facility at In-Shape Family Fitness. The Coach meets with clients to understand their goals, delivers Shoot 360 sessions, supports client improvement and satisfaction, and helps meet session and sales goals. The role also sells new memberships and officiates recreational adult league basketball games.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong service orientation and desire to deliver an outstanding member experience.
Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organization and time-management skills.
Accurate and timely work in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Strong task-completion and follow-through skills.
Professionalism, cooperation, and ability to work well with all parties.
Ability to maintain focus in a hectic and evolving environment.
High regard for safety.
Willingness and ability to work a flexible shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Current CPR certification or ability to pass CPR certification within 60 days of hire.

Ability to work independently and self-manage tasks.

Knowledge of fitness terminology and methods.
Concussion protocol training.

Coaching experience is highly desired.
Referee experience is desired.

Responsibilities

Support the success and growth of the Shoot 360 program and facility, including member retention, customer service, facility cleanliness, and general basketball equipment maintenance.
Sell new memberships through on-site evaluations to help meet monthly targets.
Deliver Shoot 360 sessions in accordance with program standards and expectations.
Support members’ skill development by connecting, correcting, competing, and challenging them during workouts.
Conduct on-site events, camps, and clinics to generate membership growth.
Communicate effectively with members, coworkers, and the manager, verbally and in writing.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Keep the facility clean and safe through routine maintenance and safety checks.
Attend mandatory meetings at the club and offsite, as well as conference calls.
Promptly and thoroughly review required health and safety training.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Officiate recreational adult league basketball games, enforce league rules, maintain game flow, and ensure participant safety.
