About The Position
Serves as assistant to a Youth Basketball Program Director and acts as Director in that person's absence. Instructs participants, conducts drills, serves as coach for informal house league teams. May coach an informal game in a nearby town. Performs related duties as needed.
Requirements
- Considerable basketball coaching and/or instructional experience involving children.
- Good communication skills.
- Must pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Current certification in both First Aid and CPR is preferred.
- May be required to attend a staff meeting or coaching workshop; the coaching workshop may be completed online.
