Baseband Hardware Design Engineer

Apple•Sunnyvale, CA

About The Position

Join Apple’s Hardware Technology group on a team responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, and integration of baseband systems for Apple products. This electrical engineering role focuses on the digital and power management domains of Apple wireless chipsets, from concept through product announcement. You will collaborate across functions, including with Apple SoC, battery, sensors, and iOS teams, and maintain an understanding of the broader product landscape. During architecture, you will work with architects and IC designers on power, digital, and clock management for next-generation chipsets. During development, you will drive schematics, layout, and bring-up for development and form-factor hardware, and debug hardware, software, and coexistence issues. You will also work with contract manufacturers on factory prototype support. The position may require international travel when approved.
