About The Position

Provides oversight and management of the fall baseball clinics. The fall baseball clinics are offered to children ages eight (8) to twelve (12) years old. The program runs twice per week, from the last week of August to the last week of October, for 8 weeks, with 4-6 hours per week.

Requirements

• Considerable baseball coaching/playing and instructional experience.
• Must have or be willing to update/obtain CPR/AED and First Aid Certification.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Plans and determines instruction format, drills, and organization of participants.
• Lays out the work for and supervise other instructors.
• Participates in running drills, coaching, instructing, and demonstration.
• Organizes participant's emergency information and keep an updated roster on hand.
• Administers emergency response and first aid if needed.
• Follows the Town protocol for communicating emergencies.
• Ensures that all equipment is set-up and removed before and after each session.
• Serves as a role model to encourage good sportsmanship.
