Summer Teaching Job – Baseball Camp Educator ($23.50/hr) | North Park
About The Position
Padres Baseball & Softball Camps is hiring educators and youth coaches to lead campers ages 4–13 through baseball and softball activities at our North Park camp. Padres Baseball & Softball Camps provide a fun, structured environment where young athletes learn baseball and softball fundamentals while building confidence, teamwork, and character. We provide the equipment, curriculum, and training — you bring the energy, leadership, and passion for working with kids. As a Padres Camps Coach or Camp Educator, you will guide campers through daily activities focused on baseball and softball skill development. Camp staff help create a supportive environment where young players can improve their athletic skills while learning teamwork, accountability, and sportsmanship. Staff work closely with Site Directors and fellow team members to ensure campers have a safe, engaging, and memorable camp experience.
Requirements
- Experience working with children ages 4–13
- Comfortable demonstrating baseball or softball fundamentals
- Bring enthusiasm, leadership, and positive energy
- Able to make a 3–5 week commitment
- Have reliable transportation to travel to their assigned camp location
- All hires must pass a background screening
- Requires at least one school year of paid teaching experience or proof of teaching certification (for Professional Educator Rate)

Responsibilities
