Base Sales Managers are responsible for sales, distribution, and merchandising of products in military commissary and exchange outlets in their assigned territory with a primary goal of increasing sales. They are expected to maximize sales growth by securing product distribution, optimizing shelf placement, and driving promotional performance. This role involves partnering with stores to ensure top-tier merchandising, including prime displays and correct pricing. The manager will collaborate with store teams, Business Managers, and clients to align strategy, solve problems, and elevate results. They will utilize digital tools and reporting to track performance, manage product flow, and drive informed decisions. Additionally, the role may involve assisting with or participating in civilian retail coverage to support company-wide sales initiatives. A key responsibility is recruiting, training, and overseeing a team of independent contractors to ensure field execution meets high standards. Other duties may be assigned to support overall team and business success.
