About The Position

Southwest Electrical Contracting Services LLC (SWECS) is seeking a motivated and dependable BAS Installer for its EMCS Division. The role installs Building Automation and Energy Management Control Systems in commercial and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate has hands-on electrical or BAS experience, follows strong safety practices, and can work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of work experience in BAS or the electrical trade.
• Knowledge of EMCS systems, electrical installation materials, and wiring methods.
• Ability to work independently for extended periods.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP plans and specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret EMCS system submittal drawings.
• OSHA 10-Hour Safety Certification.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Maintain the minimum required tool list.
• Meet SWECS minimum eligibility requirements for new hires.
• Positive attitude and strong eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Install and bend conduit, raceways, control wiring, and EMCS devices.
• Install control panels, sensors, actuators, and related BAS components.
• Follow project blueprints, specifications, and SWECS safety standards.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and project teams.
• Keep job sites organized, safe, and compliant.
• Meet project timelines while maintaining quality workmanship.
• Install conduit raceways and control wiring as directed by a supervisor.
• Execute installation of floor-level and mechanical-room-level EMCS systems.
