Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or a related technical field. Prior work experience (8+ years) in the building automation field can supersede a degree.
• 4+ years' experience in building automation systems controls or building automation management systems.
• 4+ years' experience producing BAS submittals in any BAS platform,
• 4+ years' experience working with AutoCAD and/or Visio.
• 2+ years' experience designing and engineering HVAC control systems, including developing sequence of operations and equipment selection.
• 2+ years' experience with generating and managing RFIs (Requests for Information) to resolve design issues.
• Proficiency with reading and creating layout drawings to guide system installation (e.g., sensor locations, panel placement).
• Experience interacting with external stakeholders, such as consulting engineers, contractors, and building owners.
• Experience with developing Bills of Material (BOM).

Responsibilities

• Producing BAS submittals in any BAS platform
• Designing and engineering HVAC control systems, including developing sequence of operations and equipment selection
• Generating and managing RFIs (Requests for Information) to resolve design issues
• Reading and creating layout drawings to guide system installation (e.g., sensor locations, panel placement)
• Interacting with external stakeholders, such as consulting engineers, contractors, and building owners
• Developing Bills of Material (BOM)
