About The Position

This role focuses on the design and engineering of Building Automation Systems (BAS), specifically HVAC control systems. The specialist will be responsible for producing submittals, developing sequences of operations, selecting equipment, and ensuring accurate system installation through layout drawings. The position also involves managing RFIs to resolve design issues and interacting with various external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or a related technical field (or 8+ years of experience in the building automation field).
• 4+ years of experience in building automation systems controls or building automation management systems.
• 4+ years of experience producing BAS submittals in any BAS platform.
• 4+ years of experience working with AutoCAD and/or Visio.
• 2+ years of experience designing and engineering HVAC control systems, including developing sequence of operations and equipment selection.
• 2+ years of experience with generating and managing RFIs (Requests for Information) to resolve design issues.
• Proficiency with reading and creating layout drawings to guide system installation (e.g., sensor locations, panel placement).
• Experience interacting with external stakeholders, such as consulting engineers, contractors, and building owners.
• Experience with developing Bills of Material (BOM).
