Requirements
- Experience as a BAS Technician, Controls Installer, or HVAC Controls Specialist
- Hands-on skills in DDC hardware, low-voltage wiring, and device commissioning
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems (AHUs, VAVs, RTUs, chillers, boilers)
- Familiarity with BAS protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and effective communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally
Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, and calibrate BAS field devices, sensors, controllers, and control panels
- Perform point-to-point verification, diagnostics, and functional testing
- Support system integrations using BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks protocols
- Work closely with project managers and programmers to support commissioning activities
- Deliver professional on-site service and technical assistance to customers
- Document completed work, system updates, and testing results
