The BAS Controls Technician will work closely with controls installations and start-up/termination of equipment and programs. This role involves troubleshooting and manipulating current installed BAS programs, communicating efficiently with building owners, end users, and general contractors. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Controls Technician or in a similar position, be well-versed in troubleshooting BAS systems, and possess knowledge of controls programming and experience rewriting sequences. A fundamental understanding of testing building automation systems and strong understanding of commissioning protocols and point-to-point checkouts are essential. This position is with a large mechanical company with a controls division, founded over 60 years ago, serving clients in Education (K-12, Higher Education), High-rise commercial, Healthcare, labs, and critical environments. They handle Service Projects, Retrofits, and new construction.
