About The Position

The company's Las Vegas branch is expanding its Building Technologies team and is looking for an individual to focus on BAS programming. This role involves BAS Controls Programming/Commissioning for a Tier 1 Large Energy & Automation Solutions Company. The position is based in Las Vegas, NV, and offers a mix of remote/office work with some field commissioning. The company provides solutions for Commercial Buildings, Data Centers, Infrastructure, Software Engineering, and more. They are hiring for both Senior Level (3-10+ years) and Mid-Level (2-3 years) candidates. All work is performed on a laptop. An interest or experience in BAS Programming (Script/Line or Block/Graphical) is desired, with integration experience with Tridium Niagara software being a plus.

Requirements

BAS Programming (Script/Line or Block/Graphical)
Experience with Tridium Niagara software (plus, not required)
3-10+ years of experience (for Sr. Level)
2-3 years of experience (for Mid-Level)

Responsibilities

Work closely with a Project Manager and Engineering Team
Create BAS Applications following S.O.P.s and drawings/schematics
Sequence Development/Rewriting
Database development/uploading
3rd-Party Integration: BACnet, Modbus, LON, etc.
Expertise in either Script or Function Block programming—both are utilized
Configuration of control systems and integration into various control product lines
Remotely VPN into the customer-site and remote maintenance
Integrate systems of various controlled points to local & national software
Creating alarms and trends
Field – being involved in Commissioning and Close-Out
Field – assist on Equipment Start-Up
Sometimes guiding Control Technicians
