About The Position

We are seeking a BAS Field Programmer for our Controls Company in Bellingham, WA. This role involves programming custom applications, managing startups and commissioning on BAS Systems, and creating controls databases. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Controls Specialist/Programmer and possess strong troubleshooting skills. You will be responsible for managing programs from start to finish, ensuring they meet all requirements, and have a solid understanding of HVAC systems and their integration within controls. Our clients include Education and Hospitals, and the work involves a mix of new construction, retrofits, and design projects in Building Automation, Retrofits, Lighting and Controls, and Auditing.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Controls Specialist/Programmer or similar position
• Familiar with BAS communication protocols, specifically BACnet
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of graphical programs such as Tridium front ends
• Acute knowledge of HVAC systems and their integration within controls
