About The Position

Reporting to the Restaurant & Retail Manager, the Bartender will provide exceptional guest experiences by serving a variety of beverages, including wine, liquor, and beer, and food to valued guests. As a frontline associate, the Bartender will answer detailed menu and beverage inquiries and provide friendly, professional, and efficient service.

Requirements

• A minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience in food and beverage
• Valid Smart Serve certification
• Ability to work well under pressure with strong multitasking skills
• A strong sales ability with the ability to describe and recommend menu items enthusiastically
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language orally, electronically & in a normal day to day business function
• Ability to maintain sense of urgency and momentum
• Ability to work well as a team and support team members when required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong customer service disposition
• A strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated experience working with cash
• Demonstrated experience working with computers, tables, and pos systems

Responsibilities

• Ability to build professional relationships with guests and create an air of familiarity
• Prepare, mix, and serve all beverages, including wine, liquor, and beer, accurately and efficiently according to established recipes and standards
• Provide table service for guests which includes: promptly greeting guests, taking orders, answering menu and beverage inquiries, explaining daily features, placing orders with kitchen and processing bills and taking payments
• Take initiative in becoming knowledgeable in food and beverages being served
• Performing opening and closing duties as assigned
• Co-ordinate and communicate with both front of house and back of house teams
• Strictly adhere to all alcohol service laws and guideline
• Ensure the cleanliness, stock, and organization of work area
• Other duties as assigned
