About The Position

The Bartender – Swim Up Bar at Dellshire Resort creates exceptional beverage experiences for guests enjoying Serpent’s Bay. The role combines hospitality, efficiency, and personality to serve handcrafted beverages while maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging poolside environment. The ideal candidate enjoys guest interaction, works well in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in creating memorable resort experiences.

Requirements

Knowledge of cocktail preparation, beer, wine, and beverage service techniques.
Meet the minimum age requirements for alcohol service under state law.
Obtain Responsible Food and Beverage Service certification within 30 days of employment, if not already certified.
Strong communication and guest service skills.
Ability to multitask and remain composed in a high-energy environment.
Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-focused mindset.

Nice To Haves

Previous bartending experience is preferred.
Hospitality or resort experience is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes, standards, and guest preferences.
Provide friendly, engaging, and attentive service to guests in and around the swim-up bar area.
Verify guest identification to comply with alcohol service laws and resort policies.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar area, equipment, and service stations.
Monitor guest behavior and consumption to promote a safe and enjoyable environment.
Process orders and payments accurately using the POS system.
Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and inventory as needed throughout the shift.
Collaborate with Recreation/Activities and Food & Beverage teams to support pool operations.
Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards, including pool safety awareness.
Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and inventory counts.
Uphold Dellshire Resort service standards and brand culture.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
