Who WE are looking for: The ideal cook candidate is a skilled, disciplined professional with a strong culinary foundation and a commitment to excellence. They must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of executing precise techniques under pressure while maintaining composure and cleanliness. A deep understanding of ingredients, presentation, and timing is essential, along with a collaborative mindset and respect for the hierarchy of the kitchen. The candidate should demonstrate passion for hospitality and take pride in contributing to an elevated guest experience through consistently exceptional cuisine. Receives and prepares beverage orders, including mixing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard beverage recipes. Maintains the cleanliness of the bar area and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve guests in a friendly courteous manner
- Receive and prepare beverage orders from food servers, cocktail servers
- Know what brands of liquor, beer and wine we offer as “comped” beverages
- Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to memorized standard beverage recipes
- Maintain cleanliness of bar area by removing used glasses, and napkins, emptying ashtrays, and wiping bar top
- Maintain and replenish ice supply
- Operate cash register, complete transactions according to procedures, and maintain accurate bank
- Never serve two drinks at the same time to one person -- never a beer and a shot
- Be aware of intoxicated guests; stay up-to-date on care training
- Other reasonable duties as assigned
