About The Position
Mediterraneo, located at the picturesque Westlake Village Inn, is seeking a Bartender who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a full-service restaurant environment. As a bartender, you will ensure that all guests have a memorable dining experience.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or upscale lounge environment
- Must have a valid California Food Handler’s Card
- Must have thorough knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, preparation methods, glassware, equipment, and service
- Must have current knowledge of legal aspects of alcoholic beverage service (TIPS Certified or ability to obtain certification)
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve guests at the bar
- Pour drinks using standard pour specifications
- Handle cash and credit card transactions
- Clean and stock bar daily
- Record accurate tip out sheets daily
- May assist with cleaning of operational areas
- May assist staff in serving tables
