About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting and serving drinks, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring exceptional guest service. Your role will be crucial in providing an enjoyable experience for our guests and contributing to the overall success of our establishment.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of previous bartending experience required in a high-volume establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of drink recipes and mixing techniques.
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to handle high-pressure situations with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and Serve Beverages: Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes or guests preferences. Ensure all drinks are presented neatly and consistently.
  • Customer Service: Greet guests, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Address any guests complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain Bar Area: Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked. This includes washing glassware, restocking supplies, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Check Identification: Verify the age of guests to ensure that they are of legal drinking age. Follow all laws and regulations related to alcohol service.
  • Handle Payments: Process cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring proper change is given. Keep a record of tabs and close out checks as needed.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other bar staff, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent service. Communicate effectively to manage busy periods and special events.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage bar inventory, including ordering supplies and checking for wastage. Report any discrepancies or shortages to the management.
  • Safety and Cleanliness: Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of alcohol. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including regular sanitation practices.
