This position involves accurately and quickly taking, entering, preparing, and delivering guest orders according to standards. The Bartender will respond to guest needs and provide the highest level of quality service. Responsibilities include operating the micros operating system and cash register, answering questions about menu items, specials, and prices, and being familiar with preparation methods and ingredients to meet guest's dietary/allergy questions. The role also involves preparing food in a timely manner and operating the Turbo Chef according to standards. Additionally, the Bartender will consistently check guests' identification and monitor consumption of alcoholic beverages to ensure compliance with state and local liquor laws. Other duties include garbage disposal, picking up trays, re-stocking dishes, clearing/wiping down tables and counters, and maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of the Bistro, kitchen, and dish room. The position requires completing all required side work, taking initiative to assist wherever necessary, and working as a team player. The Bartender will also provide food and beverage service to clients in business or social functions in a friendly manner.
