About The Position

Tripoli Country Club in Brown Deer, Wisconsin, is hiring a full-time Bartender for its hospitality-focused property. The bartender stocks the bar, prepares and serves alcoholic beverages, supports inventory and cost control, and provides service for regular and catered events. The role requires compliance with state liquor laws and management procedures, careful handling of cash and point-of-sale transactions, safe work practices, and communication of guest requests and supply needs. Compensation is $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, and one year of bartending experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old to meet state age requirements for serving alcohol.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.

Responsibilities

• Stock the bar and mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
• Assist with cost control, inventory, and inventory recordkeeping; monitor food and beverage products and notify management when supplies are needed.
• Comply with applicable state liquor laws and management's standard operating procedures.
• Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Handle checks and cash transactions and use the Point of Sales System.
• Review banquet schedules, calendars of events, and special events for changes.
• Serve catered parties from service or portable bars and occasionally serve meals to guests.
• Incorporate safe work practices into job performance.
• Perform other duties as required.
