Requirements
- Previous experience as a bartender in a hotel, restaurant, or similar establishment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of beverage mixing techniques and recipes.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with diverse clientele.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Mobility to move quickly between tasks and around the bar area.
- Attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Must have flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Certification in TABC and Texas Food Handler’s.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and Serve Beverages: Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel recipes and guest preferences.
- Customer Service: Provide attentive and friendly service to guests at the bar and in the hotel lounge area.
- Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the beverage menu, including specials and promotions.
- Upselling: Recommend and upsell drinks and additional services to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including bar tools and equipment.
- Compliance: Adhere to all alcohol service regulations and hotel policies.
- Inventory Control: Assist in monitoring beverage inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Cash Handling: Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
