About The Position

The Lenox, a beloved Back Bay landmark hotel since 1900, known for its character, creativity, and genuine hospitality, is seeking a Bartender for Willow & Ivy and The Irving. This role requires skill and personality, with an opportunity to create beautifully balanced cocktails, connect with guests, and thrive in a polished yet welcoming environment. The bartender will work across three unique dining outlets: Sweeney’s on Boylston (lively neighborhood favorite), The Irving at The Lenox (intimate lobby cocktail bar), and Willow & Ivy (refined New England-inspired American cuisine).

Requirements

Previous bartending experience in a high-end restaurant, bar, or hotel required
Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and classic cocktail technique
A genuine passion for hospitality and guest engagement
Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Sunday & Monday availability required.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and attention to detail
Provide warm, knowledgeable, and personalized service to every guest
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service
Assist in developing and executing seasonal cocktail offerings
Ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with state and hotel guidelines
Support the dining room team as needed to maintain smooth service flow
Handle cash and POS transactions accurately and efficiently
