About The Position

The Emery Hotel, Autograph Collection, located in Minneapolis, is seeking a seasonal Bartender to join their team for a holiday pop-up bar. This role involves crafting and serving a variety of drinks, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a memorable experience for guests in a fast-paced, festive environment. The ideal candidate is outgoing, friendly, passionate about mixology, and committed to delivering exceptional service.

Requirements

1 year of bartending experience preferred.
Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
Knowledge of drink recipes, drink and wine merchandising specials.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Read, write and speak English fluently.
Working knowledge of drink service and bar terminology.
Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
Availability for exclusively evening shifts, including weekends and holiday nights, 3–4 nights/week.
Seasonal dates of operation: 11/15/25 through 12/28/25.
Pre-employment background check required.

Responsibilities

Providing friendly, efficient, and professional service in a fast-paced seasonal bar or event environment.
Working as servers, bussers, or bartenders depending on business needs.
Guest service, beverage preparation, order taking, table maintenance, stocking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
Supporting the holiday pop-up bar with full holiday cheer and a love for all things festive.
Wearing festive wardrobe (provided).
