About The Position

Swiss Valley is looking for bartenders to join their team to provide pleasant, prompt, and courteous guest service to customers. Bartenders should be friendly, outgoing, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The Swiss Valley staff works as a team, so bartenders may also assist other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old by 11/1/2026.
• All employees age 18+ will complete a background check upon hire.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, is required.
• Must follow all state and local laws for serving alcohol responsibly, as well as alcohol serving policies as required by MI State Law.
• Must be able to lift 55 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• At least one-year of food & beverage/bartending experience is preferred.
• TIPS training upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant, prompt, and courteous guest service.
• Keep bar areas clean, organized, stocked, and ensure that glasses and utensils are clean.
• Communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Behave professionally and maintain a positive attitude.
• Solve problems effectively and efficiently, especially during busy shifts.
• Lift heavy cases of liquor, beer, and wine, and perform other physical activities.
• Be on your feet for most of your shifts.
