About The Position
The Bartender – Swim Up Bar at Dellshire Resort creates exceptional beverage experiences for guests enjoying Serpent’s Bay. The role combines hospitality, efficiency, and personality, serving handcrafted drinks while helping maintain a safe, clean, and engaging poolside environment. The ideal candidate enjoys guest interaction, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in creating memorable resort experiences. Dellshire Resort is a themed, medieval-inspired destination in Wisconsin Dells and is scheduled to open in Spring 2026. The position is part of a dynamic pre-opening environment.
Requirements
- Meet the minimum age requirement for alcohol service under state law.
- Responsible Food and Beverage Service certification, or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of employment.
- Strong communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a high-energy environment.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-focused mindset.
Nice To Haves
- Previous bartending experience preferred; hospitality or resort experience strongly desired.
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation, beer, wine, and beverage service techniques.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes, standards, and guest preferences.
- Provide friendly, engaging, attentive service to guests in and around the swim-up bar area.
- Verify guest identification to comply with alcohol service laws and resort policies.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar area, equipment, and service stations.
- Monitor guest behavior and beverage consumption to promote a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Process orders and payments accurately using the POS system.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and inventory as needed throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with Recreation/Activities and Food & Beverage teams to support pool operations.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards, including pool safety awareness.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and inventory counts.
- Uphold Dellshire Resort service standards and brand culture.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
