About The Position

At Ryan Field, we are building a world-class game day and event experience, and this role is instrumental in creating memorable moments for guests, donors, season ticket holders, sponsors, and visitors. The Restaurant Pavilion Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality while preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in our Pavilion service areas. This position helps create a welcoming atmosphere by providing outstanding customer service, maintaining beverage quality standards, and ensuring responsible alcohol service in compliance with all applicable laws and policies.

Requirements

  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
  • Previous bartending experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of drink recipes and responsible alcohol service.
  • Ability to operate a POS system.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a high-volume venue.
  • Knowledge of wine and spirits.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes, standards, and service procedures.
  • Verify guest age and identification in accordance with state and local alcohol service regulations.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and accurately process cash, credit card, and mobile payments.
  • Maintain knowledge of beverage offerings, promotions, and venue amenities to assist guests effectively.
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service and monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bars, concession areas, and beverage stations throughout events.
  • Restock beverages, garnishes, cups, ice, and related supplies as needed.
  • Assist with opening and closing activities, including inventory counts, cash reconciliation, and cleaning procedures.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service requirements.
  • Collaborate with concession staff, runners, and supervisors to ensure efficient event operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
