About The Position
The Bartender is responsible for mixing drinks to order and serving guests. This role requires a strong understanding of all bar drinks and wines, excellent guest service skills, and the ability to develop and enhance guest loyalty. The position involves working extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. A bartending test, credit check, and pre-employment food and alcohol service training are required.
Requirements
- Strong verbal communication; personable and guest service driven
- Self-motivated with Professional demeanor
- Pass a short bartending test
- Must have good customer service skills and the ability to develop and enhance guest loyalty
- Availability to work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Must be able to pass a credit check
- Excellent guest service skills: ability to adhere to Universal Service Standards of proper grooming and appearance.
- Must have basic math skills; ability to count change and balance bank
- Ability to complete required pre-employment food and alcohol service training
- Effective communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and receive orders
- Highly motivated, ability to take initiative, effectively work with others and work in a fast-paced environment
