About The Position

Puttshack USA, headquartered in Chicago, IL, opened its first location in 2021, offering an upscale, tech-infused mini golf experience that appeals to everyone. More than just indoor mini golf, Puttshack elevates the game with ground-breaking technology while also serving world-class food and a full bar in a cool environment. The Puttshack experience is centered around having fun together. The company is looking to attract a diverse team of fun hospitality associates who are dedicated to creating an elevated, one-of-a-kind guest experience. The Bartender position involves mixing and serving alcohol and other beverages based on guest requests, demonstrating knowledge and ability in the art of mixology. The Bartender is responsible for exceeding guests' expectations by providing friendly and caring service.

Requirements

  • Must be 21+ years of age to apply.
  • Prior craft cocktail experience in high volume restaurant or bar.
  • Strong level of emotional intelligence and overall self-awareness.
  • Must obtain required licenses and certifications per state and/or local requirements.
  • Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy environment.
  • Safely and effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Bring your 'A' Game every day.
  • Greet guests with a warm invite and sincere smile.
  • Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and instructions.
  • Stock/restock appropriate bar areas with alcohol, glassware, ice, garnishes, and supplies.
  • Follow all steps of service to effectively service a full bar top, cocktail station, and dining area.
  • Anticipate guests needs and show attentiveness to ensure overall guest experience exceeds expectations.
  • Understand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictions.
  • Safely and effectively transport food and beverage.
  • Keep areas tidy and comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures.
  • Give direction to barbacks and be a team player.
  • Successfully complete alcohol awareness training.
  • Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Associate Handbook.
  • Other projects or duties as assigned, including but not limited to side-work, opening, and closing duties.
