Opened in 2022 and recognized as the only AAA Four Diamond Marriott property in the region, TETRA is more than a hotel—it's a destination of elevated design, refined service, and inspired culinary experiences. In partnership with sister property AC Hotel Sunnyvale Moffett Park, our dual-hotel campus boasts 350 stunning guest rooms and suites, sophisticated indoor and outdoor meeting spaces, and a collection of curated dining venues including Adrestia, NOKORI, and Nexus Cafe At TETRA, every detail is a celebration of comfort, connection, and contemporary elegance. We’re seeking a Bartender who brings creativity, precision, and genuine hospitality to every guest interaction. You will be instrumental in crafting exceptional beverage experiences while creating a welcoming and vibrant bar atmosphere.
Requirements
- Are 21+ and hold (or can obtain) Food Handler’s Certification & Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS)
- Have previous experience in bartending or luxury hospitality
- Possess strong knowledge of cocktail preparation, wine service, and beverage trends
- Thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment with a high attention to detail
- Communicate clearly and confidently with guests and team members
- Know your way around a POS system, basic math, and high-touch service expectations
- Maintain grace under pressure and bring thoughtful solutions to every shift
- Bring a positive attitude, creativity, and passion for hospitality
Responsibilities
- Create and serve exceptional cocktails, wines, and beverages with consistency and artistry
- Deliver a warm, engaging, and attentive guest experience at the bar and throughout the dining space.
- Recommend beverages, upsell featured items, and provide thoughtful food and drink pairings
- Maintain deep knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail techniques
- Accurately enter orders and handle transactions using the POS system
- Ensure bar cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking at all times
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless execution
- Recognize returning guests and build authentic relationships
- Respond to guest needs and resolve concerns with professionalism and grace
- Uphold all sanitation, safety, and service standards
