The Bartender is responsible for greeting customers, taking drink/food orders, mixing ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and sugar to prepare cocktails and other drinks, as well as serving beer and other beverages, and completing transactions. This role involves ensuring guest satisfaction by providing sincere, courteous, and service-oriented assistance, learning guest names and preferences, and performing cashier duties according to company and franchise standards. The position requires thorough bar setup and cleanup, knowledge of all menu items and beverages, suggestive selling techniques, and adherence to liquor laws. The Bartender also assists in maintaining beverage cost, manages inventory, and utilizes the POS system for transactions. Regular attendance, punctuality, and maintaining high standards of personal appearance are essential.
