BEAT THE BOMBWashington, DC
Onsite

About The Position

BEAT THE BOMB is an immersive group entertainment company that offers real-life video games, using an innovative digital, interactive game system to blend technology and human social connection. Their signature Mission experience involves teams in hazmat suits navigating interactive game rooms before facing a large paint, slime, and foam bomb. Originating in Brooklyn in 2018, the company has expanded to Atlanta, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Charlotte, Houston, and Denver, having hosted over 500,000 players. They also provide special event services like STEM Camps, birthday parties, corporate tournaments, and bachelorette parties, alongside a virtual team-building platform. The DC location, opened in February 2023 in Ivy City, spans over 10,000 square feet and features Mission experiences, 7 immersive arcade lounges ('Game Bays'), street food, a full bar ('The Bomb Bar') offering beer, wine, cocktails, and signature slushies, a beer garden, and dedicated private event spaces. It has quickly become highly rated, welcoming nearly 50,000 customers in under six months. The Bartender will play a crucial role in delivering a unique experience for both customers and team members through excellent guest service and cocktail preparation. This involves accurately executing all drink recipes and adhering to food/drink safety guidelines. While primarily focused on bar operations, the Bartender is expected to understand all aspects of Beat The Bomb's overall operation.
