About The Position

The Bartender is responsible for setting up the bar area and preparing and serving beverages and/or food to guests and servers. The role maintains the service and cleanliness of the bar, supports quality service and guest satisfaction, and controls liquor inventory. This position is for the PM shift, from 4 p.m. to close, and serves beer and wine only.

Requirements

• High school diploma; GED documentation is preferred.
• One to two years of experience.
• Meet the minimum state requirement for serving alcohol.
• Alcohol awareness certification and food service permit, as required by the relevant local or state government agency.
• Clearly convey information and ideas orally and in writing.
• Quickly and accurately evaluate and select among alternative courses of action.
• Maintain composure and objectivity in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Assimilate information and data from various sources and adapt it to the needs of a particular situation.
• Listen to, understand, and clarify concerns raised by team members and guests.
• Work with financial information and data and perform basic arithmetic.
