About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Beverage Manager, contributes to the efficient daily operation of Food & Beverage activities by mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests while maintaining high standards of cleanliness of each bar area, in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel. Maintains professionalism in all interactions with internal and external customers.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
One (1) year of bartending experience.
A combination of relevant education and related work experience may be considered.
Valid driver’s license is required when driving vehicles for work-related purposes.
Must be able to successfully pass a background screening / investigation according to the established requirements below.
Must obtain and maintain Food Handler’s, Food ServSafe, Alcohol ServSafe, and TIPS certifications.
Must be able to submit supporting documentation of education and training to support qualifications.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license in good standing according to licensing rules and regulations.
Must obtain and maintain a driver's license and qualify for insurance coverage on company vehicles.
Pre-employment drug screen.
Personal reference check and employment verification.
Federal, state, and/or tribal criminal history and sanction checks including fingerprint verification.

Responsibilities

Verifies guest age for purchase of alcohol.
Cleans glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
Takes beverage orders from serving staff or directly from guests.
Mixes ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to established recipes and procedures.
Maintains accountability of beverages served.
Sets up, stocks, cleans, maintains, and breaks down work area.
Processes payment from customers.
Maintains bar inventory and supplies; places orders with outside vendors as directed.
Provides excellent customer service for all internal and external customers.
Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
