The bartender is a vital member of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s (SLSO) guest food and beverage operation. This position reports to the Food and Beverage Manager and works closely with the Director of Guest Experience and Guest Services Manager to ensure that guests receive exemplary hospitality and bar service prior to each concert and during intermission in the Jack C. Taylor Music Center, as well as select pre- and post-concert add-on experiences. This highly visible position will embrace the opportunity to ensure that SLSO guests have a welcoming, accommodating, and memorable experience. Bartenders require outstanding hospitality skills, proficiency in the safe service of alcoholic beverages and food, and the ability to interact effectively with SLSO patrons, donors, staff, volunteers, and stakeholders at all levels.
