About The Position

Responsible for the beverage service to guests and Beverage/Food Servers in an assigned service station and/or bar ensuring efficient and prompt service for restaurant guests, patio guests, and when applicable, pool area guests. This role involves mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining a clean bar station, and adhering to all gaming and beverage regulations. The position also requires handling payments, ensuring drinks are entered into the POS system, and assisting with guest safety and responsible alcohol consumption.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
Must be at least 21 years of Age (for Indiana Properties only).
Must possess or be able to obtain an active employee permit issued by the State of Indiana’s Alcohol and Tobacco Commission (for Indiana Properties only).
Must complete an ATC approved server training program (for Indiana Properties only).
Requires a Level 4 Gaming License.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to perform basic math skills: addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
Frequently required to stand and walk.
Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or bend.
Required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
Minimum of two to three years related experience desired.

Responsibilities

Mixes and serves alcoholic beverage and/or non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
Mixes and serves beverages in a service station capacity to Beverage/Food Servers in a prompt and efficient manner.
Receives, issues and keeps necessary records of liquor store and supplies.
Maintains a neat and clean bar station on a continual basis.
Monitors guest alcohol consumption and responds accordingly.
Keeps sight lines neat and organized.
Ensures no drinks are served unless entered into POS system.
Receives payment from food and beverage guests/servers in a prompt and courteous manner.
Adheres to established cash control policies and procedures.
Requests identification from guests when legal age is in question.
Answers any guest questions and directs concerns to appropriate management.
Assists in maintaining standards of health, safety, and sanitation.
Completes side work, set up or closing duties as assigned.
Follows all TIPs. guidelines to help assist with guests’ responsible consumption.
Creates an atmosphere of fun for all casino guests.
Encourages mutual respect, dignity and integrity with all employees, by setting positive examples at all times.
