About The Position

Pelican Bay Foundation is seeking part-time seasonal Bartenders for its Food & Beverage department, serving at Marker 36 and Sandbar, its coastal restaurants in Naples, Florida. The role starts immediately and ends on May 15, 2027, with AM and PM shifts available. Bartenders report to the Restaurant Manager and help create memorable experiences for members and their guests by providing attentive service and preparing consistent, high-quality beverages. The position works alongside a year-round Food & Beverage team and seasonal colleagues from around the world. The ideal candidate communicates effectively, maintains high standards of integrity and service, and is organized, flexible, self-motivated, reliable, and able to work under pressure.

Requirements

At least three months of bartending experience in the hospitality industry.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation.
Ability to use POS technology effectively.
Ability to meet physical requirements, including standing, walking, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent communication, high integrity, and a strong commitment to member service.
Ability to work under pressure and be a team player, organized, flexible, self-motivated, and reliable.

Responsibilities

Welcome members and guests warmly as they approach the bar.
Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
Maintain consistent beverage quality by following recipes and representation guidelines.
Monitor member satisfaction and address issues promptly and professionally.
Keep bar equipment and the bar area clean, stocked, and organized.
Conduct regular inventory checks and restock supplies as needed.
Ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
