About The Position
Beeline at Newport on The Levee is now hiring a Bartender. Work with us to make great money, have fun, and be part of an awesome team! Beeline offers guests a wide selection of beer, wine, and high-quality craft cocktails made with local ingredients. Beeline at the Levee features garage door-style doors that open to reveal incredible views of the Ohio River and Cincinnati skyline, a popular destination for those wanting to catch a drink and watch fireworks in the summer. We are looking for strong communicators with a hospitality mindset, who always bring their a-game, live for teamwork and love to spread positivity. You must embrace and help us carry out our passion to enhance neighborhoods by creating the most enjoyable guest experiences for people to gather, eat, and drink.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience bartending in a high-volume bar
- Craft cocktail experience is a must
- Knowledge of wine and beer styles and appropriate glassware
- Great communication skills
- Be a good teammate
- Be responsible, show personal accountability, and be reliable
- Must be proficient with POS systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of high-volume bartending experience required
Nice To Haves
- some college preferred
Responsibilities
- Keep a clean workspace
- Maintain alcohol knowledge and safety certifications as required by company and city/state
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and certain holidays
