Responsibilities

Prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area.
Adheres to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations.
Sets up assigned bars, requisitions, and stocks all necessary items including beer, wine, spirits, paper products, garnishes, and glassware.
Maintains stock and prepares fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables.
Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
Takes and processes drink orders, mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks according to standard recipes.
Practices prudent portion control.
Checks guests' identification for proper age verification.
Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained and demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws.
Handles cash transactions, makes change, verifies charges, and records transactions.
Locks up and stores all beverage product, food, equipment, deposits, and cash drops.
Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
Keeps work area clean and organized.
Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display.
Washes and sterilizes stemware.
Performs other duties as assigned.
