About The Position

At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, Bartenders craft cocktails, pour beer, and serve food, drinks, and entertainment to Guests. They create a welcoming environment, provide exceptional and timely service, know the menu, and make food and beverage suggestions. Bartenders are also responsible for upholding safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires at least six months of bartending experience and availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, subject to business needs. Team Members are expected to provide memorable guest experiences, work effectively with others, and follow company uniform standards. The listed salary range is 12.14–12.14.

Requirements

• At least six months of bartending experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Alcohol certification, as required.
• Comply with company uniform standards.
• Be ready to create a memorable Guest experience.
• Teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• Ability to act with a swift sense of urgency.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, subject to business needs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with all Guests and serve as an ambassador of FUN.
• Recommend menu items and ensure order accuracy.
• Demonstrate knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly and anticipate Guest needs.
• Follow local and state alcohol laws, procedures, and policies.
• Process payment transactions and invite Guests to return.
• Keep the bar stocked, clean, and safe, and complete necessary side work.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
