About The Position

The Tides Beach Club, an iconic seaside destination in Kennebunkport, is seeking an enthusiastic and service-driven Bartender. This role is crucial for creating a warm and memorable guest experience at the beachfront bar, which is the heart of the guest experience. The Bartender will be responsible for crafting garden-inspired cocktails, serving local seafood, and embodying the coastal elegance of the establishment. The position requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and anticipate guest needs.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding of hotel restaurant operations; food and beverage knowledge, steps of service, and cash management as it pertains to the selling of food and beverages
  • Responsible for maintaining exceptional service levels for all events
  • Must continually strive for sales growth by having ongoing knowledge of all current menus
  • Be perceptive, proactive, and engaging. Anticipate your guest’s needs
  • Personalize the guest experience when possible; remember your guest and their requests
  • Proactively relay all customer interactions and complaints
  • Set the tone for success with a positive attitude and sincere enthusiasm
  • Engaging in clear, consistent communications with leadership and restaurant staff
  • Ensure that each customer is served efficiently and effectively
