Lila’s, an exciting cocktail bar, is seeking experienced bartenders to join our team. Lila’s is the perfect combination of playfully inspired beverages and cuisine for all ages. Located inside the Hampton Inn & Suites in the heart of the neighborhood of play, featuring a full bar and covered outdoor patio Lila’s is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail and small plates with friends and family alike. Ideal candidates will have experience with craft cocktails as well as advanced beer and wine knowledge, preferably in a high-end and high-volume environment. We are looking to add to our dynamic team that has a desire to create a memorable experience for our guests, whether they are guests of the hotel or just stopping in for a drink. Come join our team at Lila's! Summary Mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks for patrons of bar and restaurant by performing the following duties.
Requirements
- Three to six months related experience and/or training
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform opening and closing side work per checklists.
- Greet customers, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding drinks and menu items.
- Take drink orders from customers or Servers. Prepare cocktails in accordance with standard beverage recipes.
- Take food orders from guests and submit to kitchen for preparation.
- Properly record all sales transactions and secure accurate payment.
- Wash glassware as needed.
- Familiarize and be knowledgeable of current food and beverage offerings, including wine lists and cocktail menu.
- Provide current information pertaining to hours and available services of the hotel and surrounding areas.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the Lounge and surrounding areas.
- Assist in checking all fixtures, equipment and conditions (lights, heating/cooling, furniture, wallpaper, etc.) for proper operation, settings and maintenance. Report deficiencies.
