About The Position

This position is responsible for preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests and patrons of the Mohegan Sun Country Club in accordance with departmental procedures.

Requirements

• One year of Bartender experience or two years of Bar Back experience in a high volume, fast paced food and beverage or casino environment
• Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers in English
• Intermediate knowledge of spirits, beers, wines and beverage service techniques
• Knowledge of Mohegan Sun corporate and department policies and procedures
• Must maintain S.M.A.R.T or T.I.P.S. certification
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time with frequent lifting and bending
• Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Prepares alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for the restaurant, banquet hall, Triple Tee and club cart
• Responsible for the set up and break down of all bar stations and club carts
• Assist s with arranging the room and setting up tables for special events, as needed
• Uses JONAS and Micros systems for tending transactions for guests and servers
• Up-sells products and uses endorsements at all appropriate service opportunities
• Serves food to guests and patrons, as needed
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work area
