About The Position

Kiewit is looking for a Barrier Finisher Leadman for the Southeast Connector Project located in Fort Worth, TX. The Southeast Connector project is an interstate widening and reconstruction project designed to alleviate traffic congestion and improve safety. Major construction on the connector is slated for early 2023, with completion planned for 2027. Kiewit is one of North America’s largest and most respected construction and engineering organizations. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of foreman experience preferred
• Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience leading a slipform barrier crew.
• Ability to read plans and verify line, grade, dimensions, and finished quality.
• Ability to coordinate crew assignments, concrete deliveries, equipment, and daily safety requirements.
• Supervise craftsmen and monitor safe work behaviors.
• Develop and monitor daily and weekly plans, make assignments and set goals for individual craftsmen and crew.
• Interact with client representatives, engineers, leadmen, superintendents, safety, human resources and quality assurance.
