The Group Fitness Instructor provides group fitness instruction through entertaining, educational, and fun classes that promote fitness and positive self-esteem in a safe environment. Instructors serve as a fitness resource for class participants, build positive relationships that encourage continued attendance, meet daily class attendance goals, and promote Life Time programs, products, and services. The role may involve teaching a variety of group fitness formats, including strength, cardio, boxing/kickboxing, barre, cycle, dance, yoga, ARORA, and small-group training formats. The LIFE BARRE format is rooted in traditional ballet movements. Its high-repetition, precise isometric movements at and away from the barre engage muscles and help participants stand taller and activate their full range of motion. Instructors teach challenging and engaging classes, educate participants on correct form and alternative movements, answer questions, and interact with members before and after class. They also provide suitable, motivating music and clean and organize the studio after each class. The position pays a class rate of $45.00 to $80.00, based on experience, qualifications, and class duration; the rate covers all work associated with teaching, including pre- and post-class time.
