About The Position
The Barn Staff position is a part-time role responsible for the care and maintenance of barns and other farm buildings. This includes cleaning and repairing buildings, maintaining grounds and equipment, and providing general labor to support barn operations. The role also involves payment tracking, including monitoring client payments, applying them to accounts, and reconciling discrepancies. Additionally, the Barn Staff will safely operate farm equipment, lift and move heavy objects, and follow safety protocols. General maintenance tasks such as landscaping, painting, and repairing equipment are also part of the responsibilities. The role requires feeding and watering livestock, maintaining the barn and equipment, and assisting with animal health care.
Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy items
- Experience with farm animals
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
